about

Hi, I’m Caroline—the maker, mama, and dreamer behind Sew & Tell Studio!

With a Fashion Design degree and 25 years in the fashion industry, I’ve spent my career bringing ideas to life through fabric and design. I launched my own wholesale line (sold in trendy boutiques across Canada), was owner of a cute dress boutique on Queen West for 10 years, and specialized in custom designed and custom fit wedding gowns. Currently, I am the go-to seamstress for six of Toronto’s top bridal salons.  (Fun fact: I once won a fashion design competition and had the honor of representing Canada on an international stage in Paris!)

But the true inspiration for Sew & Tell comes from my crafty and creative daughters. They’ve grown up surrounded by fabric, sparkles, and endless projects—and their love of creating and our shared studio time is what sparked the dream for this special place. Now, they’re not just my muses—they’re the official Sew & Tell teaching assistants! You’ll find them helping students thread needles, cheering on finished projects, or adding their own playful touch to the studio vibe.

Our studio is all about good vibes, fun fabrics, and big imaginations. Here, every student gets to say “I made this!”—and that’s where the true magic happens. Because sewing isn’t just about stitches and seams—it’s about imagination, self-expression, and discovering just how capable you are.

We can’t wait to meet you and go on this creative adventure together!
